We got this as a housewarming present from my boyfriend`s parents. I can tell you for the last year, we haven`t had proper kitchenware at our old apartment. We pretty much had one two small pots, a tea kettle, a rice cooker, and one frying pan. Now we have this 8 Piece set, it`s going to be so much easier to prepare meals because I could cook multiple dishes at one time, instead of cooking them at separate times, cleaning the pot, and cooking the next dish. Apparently this is the same set they have at home and it`s very durable stainless steel that has lasted 5 years now.
This set comes with:
8" Omelette Pan
10" Omelette Pan
1.5 qt. sauce pan
3.5 qt. sauce pan
8 qt. covered stock pot
I`m not sure how much this set was, but I`ve seen this set before, and I think it was around $400. I am so appreciative because this was such a huge housewarming gift, and we really will make good use of it. It was really thoughtful of them because both my boyfriend and I love to cook and I would say we`re pretty good cooks! So they probably knew we would know just how big of a gift this was!
What would you consider good housewarming gifts? Do you ever pick up housewarming gifts for close friends or family?
