Essence Quatro Palette
The other day, I was early for a meeting when I realized I needed a few extra photocopies of one of my documents. Instead of heading back to the office, I pulled into a Shopper`s Drug Mart and used their photocopier.
Since I was really early for my meeting, I decided to take a quick look at their clearance section - a force of habit for me when I visit any Shopper`s location! Lol
There were lots of interesting items since this particular location had a well stocked clearance section. There were tons of nail polishes and a variety of hair care items, but nothing that really caught my eye.
They also had a bin of Essence products that were being cleared out which is where I managed to find this Quattro palette.
I`m not sure which collection it is from, or if it`s a permanent item. And I don`t know how much it was supposed to cost at regular price, but at only 1.99, I was keen to try it.
There are 4 shadows in the little compact - a purple, a pink, a light beige and a taupe colour.
I`ve switched each of them, so you can see. They don`t have spectacular colour pay-off, but they are pretty decent. My favourite of the four is the taupe colour - it is smoothly and very blendable. My least favourite is the purple since it is kind of chalky and difficult to blend.
Overall, I think this is a decent compact to keep handy. It would be great to create some looks on the go. (In fact, now that I think about it, the pink shadow could also double as a blush!)
