Recently, I stopped by an Escents Aromatherapy store to see if they had any deals going on. In general, aromatherapy stuff isn`t cheap, since essential oils can be quite pricey. But I do have a soft spot for pretty smells, so I cave every now and then. :)
I think this is an everyday (or "permanent") deal, but Escents sells their handmade aromatherapy soaps for 5 for $20. You end up saving $1 per soap if you buy 5 of them at a time. I selected the following soaps (from top to bottom, left to right in the photo):
<ul><li><strong>Latte</strong>: bitter almond</li>
<li><strong>Tahitian</strong>: vanilla + ylang ylang</li>
<li><strong>Summer</strong>: rosemary + lemon</li>
<li><strong>Verve</strong>: organic bergamot + lavender</li>
<li><strong>Squeeze</strong>: grapefruit + mandarin</li>
I really like fruity and sweet scents, so I did get a lot of citrus-y soaps. My favourite is probably the Tahitian soap, because it smells really rich and lovely. Verve is probably the most unique scent of the bunch, since lavender has a calming effect and bergamot has an energizing effect. Both, however, help to reduce anxiety, interestingly enough. :)
I`ve been saving these so far, but can`t wait to start using them. They smell wonderful, and I think $4 a bar is a pretty good deal for them.
