EotD with Maybelline Color Tattoo Eyeshadows

I was in the mood to use my Color Tattoo eyeshadows today, so I did a look with both of the shades that I own. :) I find that these shadows are hard to apply with my fingers, so I used a slanted eyeliner brush to apply them. It wasn`t the best brush to use, but I didn`t have any other wet/dry eyeshadow brushes - all of my eyeshadow brushes are meant for powder shadows. Nonetheless, I think I did alright! :)

Here`s what I used for this look:

Maybelline Color Tattoo in Bold Gold applied all over lid

Maybelline Color Tattoo in Pomegranate Punk applied to crease

Stila e/s in Sand (from the Haute in the Hamptons palette) applied to browbone and blended into crease

Urban Decay Liquid Eyeliner in Roach

Benefit Eye Bright applied to browbone and inner corner of eye

Cover Girl Natureluxe Mousse Mascara in Very Black

First things first - these Color Tattoo shadows were somewhat tricky to blend, but I remedied that by patting on some more of the Bold Gold shade to my lid. Bold Gold layers nicely, but you have to be careful not to apply too much, as the glitter might flake off and go everywhere. The shimmer tends to move about a bit as it is (which you can probably tell from the photo). Overall, though, I LOVE this Color Tattoo shade. Pomegranate Punk is a bit more sheer and difficult to layer. It`s a bit of a bummer, really, though it does look nice with Bold Gold I think.

On the upside, I wore these Color Tattoo eyeshadows for 6 hours, with no primer, and they didn`t crease! That`s quite something, in my opinion, especially for a cream/gel eyeshadow.

Have you tried Maybelline`s Color Tattoo eyeshadows yet? Do you have any favourite shades?
