I am so proud of myself!
I recently used up a few products (and let me tell you - it took a while!)
Some of them I will probably repurchase. But not before I use up everything else that has been piling in my bathroom drawers.
And here they are - the empties - and my thoughts on each:
1. Avene Micellar Lotion Cleanser and Make-Up Remover
Lovely, gentle, feels like heaven on your face. One of the best lotions I have tried so far. Removes all makeup residue in the most gentle way, without any irritation. Definitely would repurchase once I am done with my Clinique toner.
2. Avene Gentle Cleansing Eye Make up Remover
A nice product, although I probably wouldn`t repurchase, as I think I found something even nicer for the eye area. This one tended to always, always get in my eyes and blur my eyesight, no matter what I did.
3. AOK Seesand Peeling
I truly enjoyed this peeling. It offers just the right amount of roughness I need for my face/body. No strong smell, no irritation, just perfect. Used this at least once a week, especially when taking a bath - feels like the ultimate SPA experience! :o) I will definitely repurchase once I am done with my The Body Shop Vanilla Peeling. (Speaking of The Body Shop - I have totally sinned, but will confess in a future post, once my products arrive!)
4. l`Oreal Skin Perfection Serum
This is the one that promises to make your skin more refined and oh-so-flawless. And let me tell you - it does. I scored this when running through the Duty Free on Heathrow in January and it was Buy 3 Pay for 2, so I just had to! Got the serum, the day creme and the strange thing called Magic Touch Instant-Blur, which to me is a primer (and not a very good one!) But back to the serum - this is essentially the more affordable sibling of Lancome Visionnaire - they even look alike! Definitely worth giving it a try, although sadly it doesn`t last long, as you are supposed to use it day and night.
5. Diadermine Skin Perfection Oil
So this oil was supposed tighten and `beautify` my skin. Not sure it did, but then again - I am not much of an oil person, so I didn`t really use it regularly. Have a second bottle of this, so I will give it another try and reaaaally make an effort to see if it lives up to its promise.
6. l`Oreal Lumino Contrast Heat Protecting Spray
This is love in a bottle! By far one of my all-time favourite hair products. Smells divine, lasts a long, long time, because you only need a little spritz or two and best of all - works really well. My hair never felt so silky and alive. I am soooo, so tempted to repurchase right away and I probably will, although l`Oreal`s professional hair series is rather on the expensive side. But hey, beauty always comes at a cost, right? :o)
So that`s it for this post, time for a cup of tea and pretending I am really busy at work, when really all I do is trying to restrain myself from indulging in some online shopping...
