I`ve been getting back into running and honestly it is hard on your joints. There is the odd time I feel pain in my right ankle from a former injury and running long distances is hard on your knees and hips. I will usually run about an hour to hour and a half twice a week because of time constraints and impact on my joints.
When I saw the ElliptiGo online I admit I kind of fell in love. It is an elliptical bicycle that combines running, cycling and the elliptical trainer and comes in 3 models based on your fitness level and terrain you plan on riding it on. It has a removable or folding steering column and a removable front wheel for easy storage. The ElliptiGO is also currently used and endorsed by a number of Olympians and professional runners. It can be used outdoors or mounted on a stationary trainer indoors. Even with the price tag starting at $1,799 I am so tempted to buy it because I want to try it and it looks so fun from the video lol. However I am not sure how easy it would be to learn to ride. Is it like riding a bike or scooter? Because if it`s like a scooter I am going to fail so badly, but if it`s like a bike I`d be okay.
Do you enjoy cardio?
What forms of cardio exercise do you do?
Do you think it`d be easy to mount and ride the ellitigo or do you think it looks like an accident waiting to happen if you get on it?
