This is another Elf Studio Line single eye shadow in my collection. This shade is Amethyst which is a very pretty deep purple shade with golden flecks in it. It looks flawlessly gorgeous in the pan, but sadly, its darker in the pan than it does wear, but in some cases it makes this more versatile by it being a good crease or definer shade. The swatch posts attached are of the same swatch just in different lighting, the lighter one is in direct sunlight and the lather is out of the sunlight. As you can see the color does not transfer that great from pan to application the pigmentation really being less then stellar. Granted, this swatch is without the use of a primer. A primer would make this last longer. I have used this as a crease shade and it works well for a mild pop of color, but I will say this is not a product you should purchase if you are looking for intense pigmentation off the bat.
As with all Elf Studio line eye shadows, these retail for $3, but you can find these at stores such as K-Mart and Dollar Tree for anywhere between $1-1.80. You can also purchase on the eyeslipsface website and use a promo code to get a percentage off. As with all the Studio line shadows, the packaging is pretty nice for a $3 product.
