I am a loyal fan of the ELF Mineral Eye Brightener powder, it is a staple in my everyday makeup routine. When I saw that ELF has a High Definition Undereye Setting Powder, I thought it might be similar to the Mineral Eye Brightener, but less brightening and longer lasting? This is said to "camouflage" fine lines and darkness, HD camera friendly and sets to a "velvety finish".
I have been using the Undereye Setting Powder to set any type of makeup on my undereye area, foundation, tinted mositurizer and of course concealer. Each time I use it, it has the same quality - it applies translucent, doesn`t look powdered or cakey, doesn`t settle into fine lines, smoothes out the skin`s appearance and it`s pinky-hue adds a bit of brgihtening to the darkness that I naturally have in my undereye area. I found that this setting powder lasts about 6 strong hours, 4-5 hours if in 80-90 degree weather (that`s not bad!) without any creasing or makeup movement. I should also mention that I can use this setting powder underneath my Mineral Eye Brightener powder and there`s no issues - that made me even more happy!
This little pot of baby pink powder with barely-there shimmer is actually pretty good! When I first opened it I thought it looked very similar to the Benefit Camouflage undereye powder, and although I do not own it, I hear the Benefit powder acts like a setting powder for your undereye area. I have always wanted to buy that Benefit Camouflage but never could swallow the price tag of it. I think, if you are in the market for an undereye setting powder, do give the ELF High Definition Undereye Setting Powder a try.
My recent eye makeup looks seen on my Facebook page and Instagram all included this HD Undereye Setting Powder!
