Hey guys! So I purchased the Elf clarifying pressed powder ages ago and have decided to do a review of it. I actually purchased two of them, one in a shade darker than my skin tone so I could swatch them better for you guys. I also sometimes use it as an alternative to bronzer.
Okay, so the shade my skin is in is Light Beige. The other color that I own is in Honey. I`ve swatched them above for you guys. And yes, the bottom color does actually match my face when I put it on. The photo plays tricks. Haha But you can see Honey (on top) that totally doesn`t match my skin, and it allows you to see how pigmented these powders are. If using a puff you can easily get enough coverage. As for quality, it can look a bit cakey, so be careful if you are going to use this product. I wouldn`t recommend someone using this and only this powder if you have oily skin. When this powder combines with the oils of the face (and this is just my experience with it) it looks a bit greasy and disgusting. So I don`t recommend it for oily skin types. For drier skin types I think it would be great. I have combination skin, so I don`t reach for this product too often.
If you have dry skin and are looking for a cheap powder this one would be okay. Otherwise it isn`t the best. I think these are around a dollar, so you get what you pay for.
