This is my ELF Haul from a couple of weeks ago, but for some reason it got a little delayed in the mail.
I placed my order when they had the 50% of Studio deal going, which means I am really late posting this lol.
I wanted to try out some of the other Studio Brushes, and wanted some extras of some of the ones I already own and use often. They are normally 3 dollars but with the deal, each of the brushes was $1.50!
I needed some new face brushes and the studio ones are my favourites! They are soft, inexpensive and cruelty free! I have never really tried too many flat top brushes before, but I figured it was a cheap way to test them out.
I picked up one of their Powder Brushes which is the big flat top one.
I also got a Complexion brush. I already own this brush and love it! Its a staple in my make-up bag, so I wanted an extra one for my vanity. The only thing I would change about this brush is I would prefer a dome brush, but it is so big a fluffy, it still does a great job!
I also looked into some other brushes that can be multi-purpose for me. I wanted some bigger blending brushes for my eyes, and picked up the flawless concealer brush and angled contour brush for these purposes. The concealer brush is obviously meant for the face, but I like it for blending shadows under the brow bone.
I also chose a regular Studio concealer brush to use as an eye shadow brush. While I like the my studio C brush, I feel like the bristles are really short. This brush is very similar to the c brush, but has much longer bristles, that I find are easier to work with!
Moving on from the brushes, I chose a few more items that Ive been wanting.
I have been on the hunt for a new eyes hadow to fill my brows. I currently use Darkhorse from UD which works really well for me, but it had a little bit of shimmer which I dont like. Im looking for a matte version and someone I know suggested trying out the ELF eye shadow wax and shadow duos. They come in a few shades, and I chose the second to darkest shade which looked like the best dupe for Darkhorse.
I also came across the Lip Lock pencil while browsing the website. Its supposed to be a clear liner that helps lip colour stay in place.
I love the ELF Matte Lip Colors, but they have a tendency to bleed a little bit and move around on the lip. This Lip pencil is clear so it works with all shades, and is supposed to prevent lip colour from bleeding. I decided to try it out for only $1.50.
I also had the original ELF blush and bronzer duo, and I was looking for another one. They have since added different shades and there are a few different duos to choose from, I picked St. Lucia.
Last but not least, I picked up some items from the $1 essentials line including 2 eye primers one in Sheer and one is Pearl as well as a duo sharpener which comes with an extra single sharpener for free!
What do you think of my haul?
