ELF Eyelid Primer Review

This primer is the first primer that I tried. After reading and watching a ton of reviews of it I decided to place an ELF cosmetics order. This primer is one that definitely surprised me for the price. It works pretty well for it to only cost $1.00.

*Its soft, smooth and blends in gently, however compared to my Too Faced Shadow insurance, which is my fav, it is more oily and not as creamy and thick. You can see my review for TFSI here:

*It leaves a bit of pigment behind after it is completely blended in ,as you can see from the last photo which I think helps the shadow color appear more vibrant.

*Against my oily lids, it usually keeps my shadows from creasing for about 6-8 hours. There were days when I would work doubles and I would have to touch up my crease color after about 6-7 hours.

*I find it works best on normal/dry skin but if you have oily lids like me I find that it helps greatly to dust a bit of my face powder on my lids to absorb any oil before applying my primer. Keeps my shadows in tact all day.

I must say that overall, I am pleased with this primer. I have had and used it for quite a bit longer than I had expected to. If your in the market for a cheap and affective primer, I`d say definitely give this one a try!

Thanks for viewing!
