ELF Eyeshadow Quads
I recently posted about my awesome friend who brought me a whole bunch of ELF goodies when she came to visit from California See that post here: http://www.luuux.com/node/3579252
While she was here, we went out a few times, so it was the perfect opportunity to test out my new eyeshadow quads she brought for me. So far I have used Butternut for some day looks (since the colours are more neutral) and Drama for when we go out at night.
I have to say, I have never tried out these quads since I was afraid that they werent high quality, but this point, I think I have to start trusting ELF a bit more :P
The colours are actually very pigmented, though more so in Drama than in Butternut (but that just may be due to the fact that the colours in Drama are so much darker). The colours in the quad actually go quite well together, so it was fairly easy to create a look my first time trying them out. Of course you can also mix and match, but I chose not to when first trying them.
The colours are also fairly blendable: The black in drama was pretty difficult to blend out, but the other colours did so nicely. And while I tested them out with a primer, they did a fairly good job of staying put all day. I wore Butternut for almost 10 hours in the heat while showing them around and it looked great even at the end of the day.
Each one is only a dollar, and you get 4 colours. I would call that a great deal! There are lots of quads to choose from, with a variety of shades so I will definitely be trying some more when I get a chance :)
