ELF 2013 Holiday Beauty Book in Party

I recently shopped my local Walgreens store for their ELF Cosmetics Holiday display, I heard they had different sets and items than what Target stores have. I spotted one of two Beauty Books they put out this holiday season, so I purchased the Party version, $5.00. Today I have product images and swatches to share and I`ll have a fun eye look coming up soon.

There are nine eyeshadow shades in neutrals and jewel tones, plus a sponge tip applicator and a basic black eyeliner pencil. The shadows are a mix of shimmer and matte, some even being a satin finish. They all have great pigmentation, the shimmer shades being more pigmented than the mattes, but they all perform amazing (even without a primer, they have a lot of color). These swatches were done without a primer underneath, so you can get an idea of the quality and buildable color.

The eyeliner pencil is the same quality as their Essential Brightening Eye Liner pencils, easy to warm up for buildable color, basic creamy formula to apply to the water line, but unfortunately it won`t last long enough on the water line. Lining your eyelid, you`ll get hours of wear and minimal smudging.

Overall, this Beauty Book is great quality for your money, I highly recommend picking it up! If I find the neutral version, I`ll share swatches of that one too.
