Genetically modified foods are unfortunately a bigger reality in current days due to the bigger consumer demand and so companies, to make more money and increase production, use genetically modified foods to supply them quicker.
As you can imagine, they are not the best foods and you are eating those chemicals they put into them, which is something that bothers me actually. One new and more geeky way to find out if your food was genetically modified is using this new food scanner.
Its called "Elephant Nose" and it was created by designer Junhyun Kim, even winning an award last year for the concept, the scanner will "smell"/scan the food and tell you if it was modified or not.
This is still a concept though but with people getting more concerned about what they eat i can see this being produced and sold to the public. If it gets to be sold at a nice price its something i would consider getting.
Do you worry if your food is genetically modified or not?
Would you get this?
