I`ve made a number of life changes in the past year or so and one of them is eating organic - as much as possible. It`s very difficult to eat 100% organic (unless you`re growing all your own food and only consuming such), but I try my best! I unfortunately don`t have a Trader Joe`s near me to help me out, but I have been taking advantage of Publix`s greenwise products and making the occasional trip to Whole Foods. In my eyes, I would rather spend $100 on real, pure food than $25 on chemicals.
One of my favorite things to do is make an organic fruit salad. I always have organic strawberries, grapes, and other fruits like pineapple, apples, blueberries, and bananas on hand. Organic foods do go bad a bit quicker, so to help their shelf life, I make fruit salads and then put it in plastic ware to keep it from oxidizing and going bad too quickly. Delicious snacks always on hand!
I`ve also recently introduced more veggie options into my life - veggie burgers and veggie cheese. I`m definitely having a good time trying out more healthy, natural, and organic foods!
