I wanted to try a new recipe with chicken since after a while everyone gets bored of cooking something the same way. This is a recipe i found and its so easy its crazy! All you`ll need is:
Chicken (bone-in or boneless)
Your choice of seasoning (salt, pepper, adobo, etc.)
Ranch dressing (yes, the one you use on your salads)
Bread crumbs (you can make your own or buy some)
I heated the oven for about 350, i used bone-in drums and thighs which means that they cooked a little longer than boneless would.
How to make it:
Season your chicken the way you normally would, to your taste. If you want to let it sit for a little that`s fine. Meanwhile i greased the bottom of a baking pan with a little bit of butter. On one plate i poured about half a cup of ranch and in a wide bowl i poured the breadcrumbs! (I used seasoned crumbs). Once you`re ready just pass the chicken through the ranch, covering it completely but not drenched than coat it with the bread crumbs. The ranch will help the breadcrumbs stay put, will give some moisture to the chicken so it wont be dry and adds a nice taste. Stick it in the oven for about 45 mins or until fully cooked and its ready to serve!
The chicken doesnt taste at all like ranch, and the crumbs dont come out soggy! Let me know if you`ve tried it or your favorite way to make chicken!! (:
