(Q&A SATURDAY) - this video is in response to all of the questions i receive about my lighting set up.
There are several types of lighting kits available
1. Soft Box Lighting - http://amzn.to/18Rbc53
2. Umbrella Light Kit - http://amzn.to/12yl5Ur
But because of the space in my studio i chose to DIY using inexpensive materials. All in all the set up itself cost less than $30 + the cost of light bulbs.
What you will need:
Clamp Lights ($9 here http://amzn.to/16FSIo1) - i have 2 but you can certainly use more!
White Project Board - ($2 here http://amzn.to/18RbCIT) - if your walls are white or you wont need this.
I hung the white board on the wall and have the lights facing the board instead of my face. This helps to diffuse the light and create a more even balanced illumination.
If you want to better understand how to choose the proper light bulb make sure you check out PART 2: http://youtu.be/Xyc8RFzrtUQ
FYI - the light bulbs i use are found here http://amzn.to/1dCCujk ($18 for 4)
