During the beginning of college, I held a part time job and was a full time student. Whenever I had the chance to catch a break, I would run home to make lunch or bring some food for my lunch break at work.
If I was particularly starving that day, or had a huge appetite, I would turn to making fried dumplings. They come in frozen packages that you can find any Asian supermarket these days and all you have to do is boil them in water. If you like them fried like me, you can boil them to "al dente" you can say, and then toss them in the pan for a quick fry.
I love mine fried golden brown with a mix of soy sauce and red vinegar for my dipping sauce. Oh, and I have been hooked on drinking jasmine milk tea for a few years now. I love it!
