**PICTURES ARE MINE, PLEASE DO NOT USE**
The other day i dyed my hair as i was WAY OVERDUE in getting it done. The last time that i coloured my hair was last year, probably during summer time. You could definitely notice my roots. I only ever dye my hair twice a year and i always do it myself, i never go to the salon to get it done as i find it very expensive. I would spend money to get a good haircut but not for colouring my hair, unless i can find someone that can do it for a reasonable price. The only disadvantage to doing your own hair colouring is making sure you dont get it everywhere on your furniture and carpet; i always make sure that i put old newspapers everywhere in the area i am dyeing my hair, but even then i still manage to get a few spots here and there. When we move into the new home, im going to have to be extra careful as the walls are cream coloured and the carpet is a light beige colour.
Anyways, i coloured my hair using L`Oreal Paris` Recital Preference permanent hair colour in the shade No. 4.15 Caracus, which is described as a Deep Mahogany Brown. I bought this last year and featured it in one of my hauls. Years ago, i always used to tend to go for the lighter brown shades but now i seem to be going for the more chocolatey brown shades. I used two boxes but i definitely think that one wouldve been enough as when it came to using the second one, my hair was denched in dye. I had no choice but to use both of them as i had got them both ready before i started applying it to my hair. The reason why i used two was because normally i purchase the L`Oreal Excellence Creme hair dye, and in that one i definitely need two boxes as my hair is quite long and also because i like the colour to be richer so that it is noticeable. Overall im really pleased with how the colour turned out, even though it turned out slightly darker as i used two boxes, but im sure it will lighten in time, but for the moment im loving the dark look.
Have any of you tried this hair dye and colour before? What do you think of it? If not, what shade have you tried? Please share your thoughts with me =)
