Are Mac All That Glitters and Covergirl Minx Eyeshadows dupes for each other?
Mac`s All That Glitters Eyeshadow ($11.50 for 0.05 oz. in the pan or $15.00 for 0.05 oz. in the pot) is a very well known eyeshadow, and a must have shade in my opinion. It is a shimmery golden beige, great for a lazy day all over the lid color or blended with others to create a defined look.
Covergirl Eye Enhance Eyeshadow in Minx (About $3.00 - $4.00 for 0.09 oz.) appears very similar to Mac All That Glitters. The shades appear very very similar, if not the same. Plus, you get more bang for your buck!
The Covergirl Eyeshadow in Minx has just slightly less pigmentation, and feels relatively the same to Mac`s All That Glitters. Mac`s All That Glitters eyeshadow feels slightly more butter, but both apply to the lids effortlessly. When blending the Covergirl Eyeshadow in Minx, it may lose some of it`s color, but that can easily be fixed with just applying some more on top. Overall, the two shadows wear well for the time that I need it to, which is about six hours.
Taking everything into consideration, Covergirl`s Eyeshadow in Minx is a good dupe for Mac`s All That Glitters eyeshadow. You would get more for a lot less money, plus the two products look the same on the lid. :)
