MAC MSF in Petticoat was first released in 2008 then re-released in 2010. At the time of its releases, many people raved about how it was their new favorite blush - and for good reason. It is a light pink blush with golden red veining that looks stunning on the cheeks year round.
Physician`s Formula Mineral Glow Pearls in Natural Pearl ($12) gives the same pink rosy glow Petticoat does but for a fraction of the price. Its base color is a bit darker than Petticoat`s but Petticoat has the red shimmer to deepen up the overall color. How red Petticoat is ultimately depends on each individual Petticoat. Natural Pearl lacks the red shimmers that make Petticoat multidimensional but honestly...I can do without the added shimmer. Natural Pearl looks more "natural" (haha) than Petticoat on the cheeks.
