Duct Tape Wallet

*Images are my own*

I have always loved DIY crafts. So when I came across this idea for a duct tape wallet, I wanted to give it a try. I did have cheetah or leopard print duct tape lying around the house. I found a great video on youtube from SoCraftastic. Check her out. The source link below is the youtube video she uploaded which is a step by step tutorial on how to make a duct tape wallet.

I must say that I did not add the clear plastic id holder on my own wallet. All you need is duct tape! You can make it all one color if you wish, but I decided to use the leopard print and regular black duct tape. It was very easy to do following her video.

I did get sloppy at the end in the inside making some pockets. It took me about 20 mins or so to make and complete the entire wallet. It came out pretty well considering I never tried anything like this before. Credit cards can fit into the slots and even has a big money pocket.

They thing I like about this the most is that you can be creative with it. You can choose so many different patterns and designs to make it completely original and your own. It is light weight and also a inexpensive way to have a wallet.

I use it sometimes when I don`t want to carry my whole purse around with me. It easily fits in a pocket or light to carry. I did see many people make and sell these online. I think they are great for kids to do. It gives them a hobby, and also a small business.

Have you ever heard or seen one of these duct tape wallets? What do you think of them?
