I`ve officially been on LUUUX for 10 days now.
What are my thoughts on this?
Most people would probably assume that I`m a ditzy, spoiled, narcissistic Asian female with nothing better to do on her hands.
I don`t blame them. The majority of my posts consists of emoticons and talking like an adolescent girl.
"Hey look at me!"
"Hey look at this!"
"Hey look what I got!"
"Hey this is what I eat!"
The irony is, I am a completely serious person in real life. Not uptight, I still joke around and chill.
Most would take me for a spoiled brat. Yes, I agree. I am a spoiled brat. However, it`s not my parents who spoil me.
I have worked since I was 16 years old. My parents never paid for anything. I worked 3 jobs in high school and I was still able to attend and graduate from one of the top business schools in Canada.
I live in a penthouse condo, I own Louis Vuitton, Gucci and Burberry purses, the majority of my clothes are brand name, and I take international trips quite frequently. And I`m a new graduate.
Thing is, I`m trying to balance between my savings and luxuries. And since my full-time job is my top priority, I`ve looked into other ways of obtaining these luxuries without sacrificing my savings goal. Which is why I`m here.
Ulterior motives, that`s probably one the major driving points of members here. This is based on the countless posts regarding driving more "LUUUX points" fast. Correct me if I`m wrong. We`re all in the same boat.
Almost every decision I make pertains to obtaining a competitive over every other business student. Granted, my school is only top 20 in the world. It doesn`t even make top 10, which is why I still regret not writing my SATs.
But history cannot be undone. All I can do now is ensure that I get an MBA from one of the top 10 business schools in the world.
