Hello lovely Luuuxers!
I know this haul is not very interesting because most of these products are just things I needed or that I`ve already tried. But I thought I`d share anyway, because why not! :P
I had a coupon for CVS for 25% off, which was great! I rarely ever buy anything full price at CVS which is why it`s my favorite drugstore!
First, I got the CVS Brand Hydrating Makeup Removing Wipes. The packaging says they can be compared to the Neutrogena hydrating wipes, and they were about $2 cheaper. I usually don`t have a problem with store brands so I picked this up instead! I have never used wipes to remove my makeup before; instead I like to use Albolene before my facial cleanser because it is very hydrating. However, Albolene has extremely bulky packaging that is awful to travel with. I will use these wipes for those nights that I spend at my friends` or boyfriend`s apartments!
2. Lady Speed Stick Invisible Dry Deodorant in Shower Fresh: First of all, I LOVE the smell of this deodorant! It reminds me of a perfume; it doesn`t smell distinctly like any one thing, but is just very crisp and pleasant. I used Lady Speed Stick for many years when I was younger and I loved it. I find that a lot of deodorants don`t work well with my body chemistry, but this one really does. Plus it is very reasonable priced in comparison to other deodorants out there that work!
3. Garnier Moisture Rescue Fresh Cleansing Foam: This is the third or fourth tube of this that I have purchased, that is how much I love this cleanser!! It leaves my skin feeling so clean, but it is still the most hydrating cleanser I have ever tried. It leaves very little makeup behind when I use a toner, and overall my dry skin has been in great shape when I use this! Plus it smells AMAZING!
4. St. Ives Fresh Skin Invigorating Apricot Facial Scrub: I am not huge on exfoliating, since I have tons of redness and broken capillaries in my cheeks and I am careful to not make them worse. However, my face has been looking pretty rough lately, so I decided to repurchase this scrub to use about once a week. This is my favorite scrub because the ingredients are gentle and it is pretty gritty, so I feel like it is getting the job done! My skin always feels very polished and smooth after using this. I wish I could use it every day!
5. Suave Professionals Sleek Shampoo and Conditioner: I mostly just wanted to try these to see if they really perfomed as well as salon brands, like they claim in the commercials! The packaging says that the Sleek products are "salon proven to smooth as well as Matrix." This is a pretty hefty claim, especially for products that cost under $3 each! I`ve only used these once so far, but I can say that I was VERY impressed with how they performed! Full review coming soon! :)
All things said and done, I spent about $17 on all of these things after my 25% coupon! Not too shabby, if you ask me.
That concludes my haul! Anyone try any of these products before? Do you love shopping for beauty essentials at drugstores as much as I do?
