Mmm drinking water is one of the best things you can do before and after a workout. The reason for this is because when cells don`t maintain their fluids and electrolytes they end up shrivel like a mummy. This can lead to muscle fatigue and well less gain from a workout =(. This is one of the reasons why I try to drink more water than alternative beverages. In addition to my focus on water, it helped me lose close to ten pounds! Well let me know your thoughts about water for workouts? Or do you prefer sport drinks?
