Dr. Hagens` Body Worlds: When Dead Bodies Become Art

I was researching online some shocking exposition and I found this which I find quite fascinating and interesting.

German anatomist Dr. Gunther von Hagens, who is the creator and promoter of BODY WORLDS, developed the plastination process that preserves bodies in such a way that they can be touched, do not smell or decay, and can even be posed! in any way you would like them to do so!!

He made an exhibition of human corpses ans that the corpses he used were of people you agreed to let others use their body for researching processes and ssuh..

The exhibition is called Body Worlds and was displayed in 1996 , a controversial yet wildly popular traveling exhibit of real human and body parts. This particular exhibition has been a great eyebrow raiser among religious groups .. wonder why right?

What do you think about it? is this sick and twisted or just artistic and educational?
