I`ve been in a cooking mood lately, so I`ve been looking up lots of new recipes since I`ve been getting tired of having the same things week after week. Tonight I decided to make shrimp and broccoli. I`ve been trying to eat a little healthier, so I thought this dish would be perfect since I actually roasted this in the oven and it calls for very little oil.
I served this over brown rice and it wass very filling!
This dish was SUPER EASY to make, and believe it or not, it only took <strong> 20 minutes</strong> to make!!! This is perfect for people who want good food, but dont want to slave over a hot stove for hours.
-1 lb. peeled shrimp
-2 lbs broccoli
I started off by lining a baking sheet with aluminum foil to make as cleaning up as easy as possible. Then I cut up the broccoli and placed it on the baking sheet. I tossed it together with a little soy sauce, minced garlic, salt and pepper. I put that into a 400 degree oven for 10 mins. Then I added the shrimp to the mixture and gave it a good stir. Leave it on the oven for another 10 minutes and your done!
I told you it was easy :))
You can eat this alone, or serve it over rice like I did!!
