Hey everyone! Oh em gee! I am so surprised that I actually made this all from scratch. Lets just say that it was very time consuming putting everything together and making sure that I had enough of everything. Haha! This was my first time ever making a lasanga. I love eating lasangas so I was a bit worried that mines wouldn`t turn out that good like the ones you would order at a restuarant but it ended up tasting very good. My boyfriend liked it so much that he even asked to take some home. LOL Thats when you know that you cooked something good, is when your boyfriend askes you for the leftovers.
BASICALY ALL I USED WERE: Lean Ground Beef Shredded Mozzerella Cheese Parmesan Cheese Tomato Sauce Ricotta Sauce Uncooked Pasta Sheets Herbs The first thing that I did was heat my oven to 425 F. While my oven was warming up, I cooked the ground beef until they were brown and cooked. I drained the beef and then added them back to my skillet. With the same skillet, I poured my tomato sauce onto the ground beef letting it boil while stirring it occasionally for 5 minutes. While that was cooking, I grabbed my baking dish and sprayed it with cooking spray. After that I had to layer my lasagna. I spreaded some of the beef sauce into the baking dish. Then layer it with 2 pasta sheets and poured the beef sauce again until it covered the pasta completely. After I poured the ricotta sauce and then sprinkled on some mozzarella cheese ontop and then repeat the whole process again. Once the lasanga was competely layered, I added some parmesan cheese on top. I then covered the baking dish with foil and baked it for 30 minutes in the oven. After 30 minutes, I uncovered the dish and baked it for an additional 10 minutes. Once everything was cooked, I removed it from the oven and let it stand for 10 minutes before serving. Everything was so good! I wish I had some garlic bread to eat the lasanga with but I had forgot to buy some since the lasanga was sort of a last minute idea. I`ll try to remember to make some next time since my boyfriend has been wanting me to make some more.
