Hello! Last round I went with the recipe for a Veggie Tortilla Pizza and yes it was delicious, tonight I wanted some protein! So I switched it up a bit with Baked Chicken, Tomato, Garlic Sauce, & Monterrey Jack Cheese. Oh how delicious it was. And it was very filling! And still healthy. The best meal you can ask for when you want to a piece of candy from the 10lb box of See`s candy your bf brought you for your bday or some of the bday brownies your mom made you. Ok I`ll be honest, I ate a brownie before my dinner, it`s the rebel in me!
Anyway, recipe & instructions:
Spray bottom of Tortilla with cooking spray
Spread Garlic Sauce on top 10" Wheat Tortilla (light layer)
(place in oven for about 5 minutes or until a little crispy)
Cut baked chicken in bite size pieces & tomatoes too and any other veggie you may like
(my chicken was leftover from the night before but just simple seasoning of chicken breast in oven)
Monterrey Shredded Cheese (sprinkle on toasty tortilla)
Scatter bite size ingredients on top of cheesy tortilla and if you like cheese like me a little more on top, I also sprinkled a little more garlic sauce on top of all of that to make it pretty. Bake in oven for about 7 minutes and it`s ready for cutting!
Definitely give this one a try... soooooo good!
