Hey Luuux Foodlings! :D
Sunday night, all of the youth/college group of our church gathered together at one of our beloved church members` house to eat dinner. For her protection, I`ll just call her `Ms. J`. Anyway, Ms. J is an amazing cook, and whenever we go to her house, we always look forward to the food ^^ From the pictures, you can probably see how delicious everything looks, right? :D Keep reading to see exactly everything we had!

Cajun Jambalaya: She had a pre-made jambalaya mix for this, so all she did was boil everything and then she added sausages and shrimp :) It was quite good! It ran out so quickly!

Baked Salmon: The recipe for this was super simple and easy, but it tasted delicious! Basically all she did was spread Miracle Whip (mayonnaise) on top of ithe salmon generously, then topped that with Masago. She baked it in the oven for about 30-35 minutes, and it was absolute perfection! I definitely need to try this sometime! :D

Pot Roast: I didn`t get to take an individual picture of this, but Ms. J made pot roast that was so good! She said she slow cooked it overnight for 10+ hours, and it definitely didn`t disappoint! In it was: beef, carrots, onions, and mushrooms :D

Clam Chowder: She made this from scratch, and it was probably my favorite thing after the salmon! It had carrots, potatoes, and broccoli pieces. So yummy!

Steamed Potatoes: You can`t go wrong with these! She basically just diced them up into fairly large pieces, seasoned them, and then steamed them :)

Spinach & Strawberry Salad: This is one Ms J.`s signature dishes! I don`t know where else I can go to find a strawberry salad that tastes better! The combination of the strawberries and spinach is delicious, but the salad dressing she makes is just amazing! I believe it`s a mixture of olive oil and other things, but she won`t share her recipe T_T

Bok Choy & Cucumber Salad: This was basically exactly what the name of it suggests :P She made her own dressing for this too; it was a mixture of soy sauce, fish sauce, and some other things, but it tastes pretty good :)

Kimchi: Haha, Koreans cannot leave kimchi out of a meal ^^;

That`s it for this DOTN! It was definitely an amazing feast that I thoroughly enjoyed :D I love going to Ms J`s house not only for her family`s warm company, but also because her food is absolutely delicious! Wish I had brought home leftovers, but in reality there were hardly any left! Just shows you how good the food was ^^
