Last night some of my friends and I went to Koreatown in LA to get some korean bbq. There are a bunch of places to choose from but we went to Sanya since they have a pretty good variety for very little money. We went around 6 and it wasn`t too packed. However once we were seated, that`s when everyone started showing up. Yay for only having to wait 20 minutes rather than an hour.
Once we were seated we were bombarded with sides (kim chi, bean sprouts, broccoli, rice paper, potato salad, bowls of rice, and some dipping sauces). We also got a huge bowl of salad. I wasn`t able to take pictures but I was able to take a picture of our first plate. We got beef brisket, marinated beef, and some pork belly. It was all delicious and very flavorful. Afterwards we got some marinated pork, marinated chicken, and some more marinated beef. We ordered the beef like 6 times since it was so good! We also ordered 3 steamed eggs and some soup. I loved the egg but wasn`t a huge fan of the soup. At the very we were extremely full! I felt like I was going to explode lol, best $10 I have ever spent!
If you`re ever in LA, specifically in the Ktown area, definitely try Sanya if you`re looking for some good, cheap, all you can eat korean bbq! $10 is a very small price when you take into consideration how much food you get! The parking is horrible though since the lot can fit like 10 cars but there`s plenty of street parking. So have any of you ever had AYCE kbbq? Have you ever been to Sanya?
