DOTD: Malaysian Dry Noodles amp Mee Siam

I found a great little Malaysian restaurant recently. They serve very authentic Malaysian food according to my friends who are from Malaysia. The food is more like street food as opposed to fine dining. But that`s exactly what I love. The place is very small and only fits 6-7 tables, but it`s always full.

Today was the 2nd time that I went there. First time I ordered laksa, which I really enjoyed. This time, I chose to have mee siam. It`s very thin rice noodles. I`m not sure of exactly what they put in it, but I could see/taste bean sprouts, coconut, garlic, egg, fish balls etc. The mee siam was more wet than dry noodles, but more dry than your regular noodle soup. To mix it up, my friend ordered dry noodles so we can have share and have a taste of both. They were both delicious as usual.

Now, the best part is that the 2 noodles only costed $11 and the portions were really big. It`s hard to find a good yet inexpensive restaurant nowadays.
