Some time ago i went to a mexican restaurant in my area that i love, its called: La Tolteca, they recently moved to a different location within the city and i hadnt gone to check it out. I loved the old location that was attached to a hotel so i figured since they moved to a larger location that it would be better for everyone, I ordered one of my favorite dishes from them, Choripollo and for a drink i got a strawberry jarrito which is a mexican soda. Choripollo is (2) grilled chicken with sausage cooked on top of it with a creamy sauce on top. The dish comes with rice, fried beans, salad & tortillas. I was a little disappointed with the serving size in the new location because the chicken portions arent as large and the chicken was a little tough. I also noticed that they got some new servers and although i already knew the one that attended us, there were 2 new ones that i was not very fond of, the hostess who was not very welcoming and checked on everyone but us and also a server that just had a bad attitude towards a younger coworker. These are the kind of things that truly get under my skin and make me not want to visit a restaurant again. Not only is good food important but also good service and a good environment/atmosphere. So i doubt i will be going to this tolteca again anytime soon but the good news is that there are 2 other locations about 10 minutes away so i can still get a good meal elsewhere!! :)
