Haven`t had a pizza sub in so long so finally decided to get one tonight from Subway.
I used to love eating Pizza Sub when I was younger, it was my favorite sub =) But of course, a regular pizza sub with everything is about 500 calories per 6-inch.
This is my healthier version from Subway:
6-inch Parmesan Oregano Bread
1/4 of the sauce - once heated up, the sauce surrounded the pepperoni
Salt & Pepper
As the majority of the calories from the pizza sub is from the cheese and sauce, by cutting down both, you save a good 150-200 calories. So my sub ended up being around 320 calories, which was very reasonable and healthy for dinner, especially since I asked for double the vegetables =)
The peppers help to add more taste to it, since they were both sour and hot.
