This was what I had for dinner today: rice with grilled tofu and grilled vegetables.
This is the first time I ate grilled tofu alone given that, most of the times I eat it mixed with rice and vegetables or pasta and vegetables or also in burgers.
I had this feeling that maybe it wouldnt taste that great but I was really surprised, it tasted really good. Well, maybe I was just very hungry because I didnt ate much during the day since I was running around town running errands.
The vegetables in it were red and green peppers, onion and carrots.
Anyway, lucky for me this was really easy to make. Since I still live with my parents and they arent vegetarians, sometimes they dont eat the same thing I eat. So, my mother made the rice for all of us and I made the tofu just for myself.
The grilled tofu could have been made in the oven but I decided it would probably taste a little better if I made it in a frying pan. I added a bit of salt and pepper, it tasted awesome and it only took me like 5 minutes to make it.
My parents ate rice with steaks and after dinner we all ate grapes.
