Last week, when trying to head home, traffic was horrendous. So my boyfriend and I sopped into the gigantic Barnes & Nobles across the street from the mall. He wanted to pick up a book for work and I figured I`d browse around because I can get lost in B&N. I was looking at cookbooks and was rather astounded by the costs of some of them -- like really? Then I went downstairs and was looking into the book they were having a book signing on (the author was going to be there any minute) but I didn`t want to spend $25 on a book I hadn`t even heard of, nor read. Turns out the book they were also selling for the signing was the third book in the series. I figured I`d look it up online and found the books on Amazon for under $10 each. So if I get around to wanting a new read, I`ll snag those online rather than in-store. ANYWAY!! I remembered that I wanted to pick up some of the Don`t Sweat the Small Stuff books. Liliana had posted this back in her favorites, probably a few months ago so I started looking into the books. They`re under the self help umbrella, giving you a topic and a short tidbit as to why you shouldn`t let things get to you and how you can work around things. There were 3 books that I wanted, but B&N only had 2 of them in their discount section ($6.95 ea). By the time I wanted to look for the 3rd book, my boyfriend had come down from upstairs and was ready to check out. Okie dokie! haha
Have you read any of the Don`t Sweat the Small Stuff books?
Do you like self help type books?
