you can probably tell by the title how much i love this food...döner is more on the fast food side of food though just because you can get it at a lot of shops everywhere really fast and eat it without having to have a fork or a knife..
but it is still a lot more healthy than burgers or fries..especially if you get it without the meat but even if you get it with meat (which often is lamb) it has less calories than most burgers and other stuff..it tastes delicious and normally includes: pita bread/flatbread, lamb or cow meat, lettuce, cucumbers, tomatoes, corn, feta cheese, red cabbage, onions, kraut and tzaziki (which is a garlicy type of sauce)..
you can also get it in a role form that might remind you a bit of a taco which is also really nice..then it is called lahmacun... ;) this usually costs about 3 and will fill you up more than three cheeseburgers for the same price ever would and still has less calories... :) it is just simply amazing...it is also known under the name kebap..most people think it is a typical turkish food but it was actually invented from a german man.just some information on the side...i eat it at least once a week! that is how much i love it..
