I`m back with yet another Dollar store haul. I love shopping at the dollar, especially for basics. I feel like I can get the exact same products as elsewhere for much less.
This time around, I ended up shopping at a Mom and Pop style dollar store in a strip mall near my house.
One thing that I have been looking for recently that I haven`t been able to find at Dollarama (my go-to dollar store) - u-shaped hair pins. You can always find bobby pins, but these hair pins that are more convenient for updo`s are harder to find. However this store had them in 2 sizes so I got a pack of both. I also noticed a plastic wide tooth comb. This reminded me of a post I read here on Luuux. I`ve been meaning to pick one up for the shower since my hair has been getting super knotted lately, and I thought this would be a good tool to use in the shower to help evenly distribute my conditioner and get those extra tangles out. I also love that it has a hook shaped handle - so convenient!
Lastly, I also picked up a pack of what I thought were cotton balls. Since using them however, I`ve noticed that these aren`t really cotton balls at all! The packaging doesn`t mention cotton anywhere, (as you can see they say `absorbent balls`) and these are not nearly as soft as cotton. They are still ok to use, but feel a little scratchy against my skin compared to actual cotton balls.
These are still handy, but I`ve now stuck them with my nail supplies for taking off polish, and bought a pack of actual cotton balls for my vanity! Lol
