A friend told me he was Lasagna gardening and that he had the best tomatoe plants he had ever grown. I researched it alittle bit and decided to try. Where I live we have mostly gray clay and not much grows well.
Lasagna gardening consists of layers of cardboard, newspaper, hay, straw, manure and veggie scraps from the kitchen.
layers and layers! All it really is is a compost pile. The picture i posted is the Garlic I planted last fall. This is a great gardening technique. It all breaks down very quickly so you always need to be adding. It also has become full of worms. It is amazing.Does anyone out there use this technique? I would love to hear from you. my picture of garlic.
