The match between Novak Djokovic and Rafael Nadal was historic, exciting and lasted 5:50 hours, that is, was the longest final in the history of a Grand Slam.
Djokovic, the first head-to-series, kept his title by defeating Nadal in five `sets`, with the partial 5-7, 6-4, 6-2, 6-7 (5 / 7), 7-5 .
The final, which lasted nearly six hours, was filled with spectacular moments by two players who have shown the reasons why they are the best nowadays.
Both have physical capacity and unusual technique that allows to mark points and fancy ball that seem impossible to recover.
This time it was Djokovic who won but Nadal, who had a service to 204 kilometers with about 5:40 of game, fell to his feet.
Rafael Nadal acknowledged that it will never "forget" the spectacular ending, in the Australian Open, against the rival Novak Djokovic, even taking into account that lost. The Spaniard assured that it will "fight" to get around.
"I will never forget this game. Even taking into account that I lost, was a special match for me. Thanks for everything. I`ll come back here and continue to fight", assured Nadal.

"Nadal, you are one of the best players in history. One of the most respected players on the circuit. Write history tonight and unfortunately we can not win both. I wish you best of luck for the rest of the season. I hope we have other end like this", telled Djokovic.
