Minty and Turquoise related colors have been very popular lately, and I happen to be a big fan! I have made several holders based on what color I am feeling at the time so I had to switch from my previous pink ones. This color always reminds me of Tiffany & Co so I decided to do them inspired by that look.
Here is what you will need!:
* Glass container = I got mine at Dollar Tree for $1.00 each
* white ribbon
* hot glue gun and stick
* Air Dry Perm enamel Surface Conditioner = Michaels
* Martha Stewarts multi surface acrylic paint in pearl finish name Aquarium = Michaels
The fist thing you will need to do is wash your glass container and let it dry completely. Next you cover the entire inside surface with the conditioner, this will help the paint adhere better. Once that is completely dry you can begin to add the paint.
With your brush cover the entire inside surface, place it upside down and let it dry for at least 24 hours. I found that with this paint it can leave some streaking so you can repeat the process one more time to cover some of it up once the first layer is completely dry.
Once its dry measure your ribbon around the container and cut. Use your hot glue gun to adhere it. Next, cut a separate strand and make your bow. Glue it to where your ends meet to cover them.
That is it!! Hope you enjoy! I also have a video showing you how to make your own, you can see it on my Youtube channel
