When i first saw this DIY i fell in love with it! I love candles, every kind of candles and i think this is really really cute and super easy to make!
What do you need:
- matching saucer (optional)
- old candles
- candles fragrance oil/essential oil (optional)
- adhesive tape
Put the old candle in a heat-resistant Cup and put this in the microwave. It will take about 5-10 min before the candle is completely melted, it depends on how big the candle is.
In the mean while you prepare your teacup. You can buy candle wicks online or a hobbyshop.
You place the wick between two chopsticks and secure them with ducttape. place the chopsticks over the cup, like in the picture.
Pick the cup with the melted candle in it out of the microwave. Then pour the melted candle into the teacup and wait until the wax is solidified.
Then your candle is ready!
