I actually did these a few weeks ago and just got around to posting them. After seeing Lilianna`s post on her diy mirror, I thought I could do that. I ordered the parts I need from an online store and went to work as soon as I got them.
I wanted more than one so I used 3 different size mirrors. A 5, 4, and 3". To begin I had spray painted bbq skewers that I had picked up at Walmart. I used a hot glue gun to stick them to the back of each mirror. Because I didn`t want them uniformed I cut some so they would made a pretty shape.
Once that was done I didn`t like them so plain so I glued on even smaller mirrors to the different sections of the skewers. I used 1/2, 3/4, and 1" smaller mirrors. Once I was done, I hung them up but noticed the smaller ones just resembled snow flakes. I was not a fan. I had taken down and set them on top of each other until I igured out what I wanted to do with them. When I looked at them, I loved the effect it gave when they were stacked. So I went ahead and glued them all to each other. 2nd image.
It cost practically nothing to make these.
What diy projects have you done?
