Back in Cleopatra`s day a milk bath was a great luxury. The milk is so moisturizing for your skin. It was said to be one of the queens biggest beauty secrets. Now a days a milk bath is still a delicacy with the cost getting more and more expensive it would cost a pretty penny to take a bath in milk. The milk is so good for your skin the lactic acid helps cleanse the skin and release dead skin cells. Its also great for your hair. Even though some spas do offer this treatment there is no need to leave your home! I have a great spa quality recipe you can do for yourself in your own home for no more than $10.00. I added epsom to help relax your muscles and honey also has added benefits for your skin. After a long weeks worth of work you deserve it :)
2 cups whole milk or powdered milk
1 cup epsom salt
1/4 honey (optional)
Just run your bathwater warm as usual and pour in your ingredients. Make sure to dim the lights and add candles for a more relaxing environment. Soak for a minimum of 20-30 mins. Rinse your body in the shower and youre done!
