Thanksgiving has come and past, and I am in full Christmas mode now! My grandma and I are both pretty crafty, so we decided to go to Michaels & Joann Fabrics this morning to get supplies to make our very own snow globes! :) We had actually been inspired by some that we had seen at Sears, but we added out own little twist to it!
The jars and ribbon are from Michaels Crafts. With all the sales today and coupons, we only spent like $10 for 7 jars and 4 spools of ribbon! We got the trees and reindeer ornaments from Joanns. Again, thanks to all of their sales and coupons, we only spent about $10 there! The "snow" is from Meijer.
With the larger jars, we took the reindeer ornaments and super-glued their feet to the inside of the jar, let them dry, then added the snow. After we sealed the jar we just added a cute little bow! They were super easy to make and are going to be great gifts!
of the 7 jars we made (I didn`t picture all of them!), 2 are going to my mom (1 tree & 1 reindeer), 2 are going to my aunt (1 tree & 1 reindeer), 1 is for my boyfriends mom (reindeer), and my grandma is keeping a tree and reindeer one for herself :)
These were super easy to make and my grandma and I are so happy with how they turned out! They were such a great DIY!
What do you think of these?
