Remember when I posted about a denim shirt that I bought on sales so I can add some studs to my old one? Well, here its the result!
Im really impatient when I have something on my mind that I really want to do so I managed to go to the mall and buy some studs. There were also different shapes but I preferred these ones once they dont have the spike so they wont damage my clothes when inside the washing machine (at least is what I think!).
I bought 10 and they were each 0.60 what I thought pretty pricey. But this was the only place where I know I could find them, so I bought them anyway.
After searching form some diy denim shirts online I decided to do mine this way. I put 4 studs on the collar, each side and the two that were left I decided to put them on one of the pockets. Once on these sites was double fabric I did not pass the stud on both, so the interior is hidden.
These studs were pretty easy to apply: I just cut a little dot and put the stud inside the fabric and then I opened the ends to opposite sides.
Overall Im pretty happy with my work! I think this old denim shirt looks even better this way. And studs are so trendy right now, plus, Im a huge lover of detailed collars so this is definitely a hit for me!
What do you think about my diy stud denim shirt? Do you like how it looks now?
