DIY monogrammed candles

I came across this simple DIY on Pinterest a while back and back then I already planned that it would be a great idea to do for Christmas gifts. I personally love monograms and when I saw this I fell in love with how cute it was! Pinterest led me to the website and it was from the website called For Chic Sake, which automatically became my new favorite website! I love personalized things and these monogrammed candles were perfect as gifts. It was so simple because it was a template that was from the For Chic Sake website. You simply download the template customize what letters you want to use and then print! Since these are stickers you have to print them out on sticker sheets or label sheets. I used what they recommended which are the Avery white full sheet 8½ by 11 inch shipping label. You can purchase it from any office supply store or Walmart which is where I got mine. Once you download the template and customize it with the letters you want to use you then just print them onto the shipping label. The template has six monograms on one sheet with different colors and once printed you just cut them out individually. I cut my out but I also used an x-acto knife to get into those small corners just to have precise cutting, but of course if you dont have an x-acto knife you can just cut carefully with scissors. I used them on Bath & Body Works candles so I just removed the existing candle label and then replaced it with the monogram and voila you have a monogrammed candle! I made a bunch of these for my friends as part of their Christmas gifts but the monograms arent only for candles. You can use them for anything and anywhere! Besides on my candles Ive stuck one on my new 2013 planner and I also have one on my school binder. The possibilities are endless when it comes to these!
