It is getting to be that time again when it gets colder and our lips get dry. I hate dry lips, it is the worst for me. My lips get really dry, chapped, cracked etc. Its not pleasing! hah
So after I have done some research on inexpensive ways to scrub away all the unnecessary:) I know you can go to a salon or LUSH and get one, but honesty i don`t like the idea of paying so much just for a small jar.
There are so many different home remedies for making a lip scrub.
Here is the simplest one I have found that works. Best part is that you only need two items!!! You will need sugar and Vaseline.
I personally don`t like using Vaseline, so in place of that I used my EOS Lip Balm in Summer Fruit.
I just got a small container, or bowl or anything you have to mix the two, scraped a fair amount of the lip balm and placed in the container and then placed sugar with it. I have found that you want to use slightly more sugar than the balm, as it is a SCRUB.
But you also want to add enough lip balm/Vaseline to moisturize your lips.
Clean up and you haven just made your very own do it yourself. Honest cost: $3-7, Waaay better than paying at least $15 for a small jar.
Tried it? Do you use lip scrubs? Let me know below
