DIY: Clay mask

I decided to post this today because I started my Labor Day weekend yesterday by hitting a club and a chill late bbq and got home at 5PM. All those makeup on my face and going straight to the bed once getting home made my face icky, ew.

French green clay is not for everyone, let alone face mask because it can dry your skin. You need to find out that works for you. French green clay is perfect for oily skins and acne prone skin because it sucks all the oil from your face and detoxify it. It is a perfect fix for those annoying large pores and large acne that comes up from stress and a "whenever mother nature comes".

You can purchase french green clay anywhere online but I purchase a 1 pound bag from Ebay for $10 free shipping which has to be the cheapest I found around.

Organic face products are always the best because they are less harsh but nothing is better than making your own and knowing what is exactly in it. I have been using this technique for about 3 months now and it works well for me. The clay works for my skin type which it does not mind me using it every other day.

French green clay

Mix everything together and apply as usual on the face.
(Exfoliate face, toner, mask, and moisturize)

The great thing about making your own mask is you can experiment. You may substitute the water for freshly brewed green tea, rosemary water, essential oil that works for your skin. You may even use the french green clay itself but why stop there when you can add extra benefits.

Things I have experimented with:
Boiled rosemary in eater; rosemary water.
Green tea water
Fresh aloe vera plant, skinned
Lemon zest and juice

I chose natural items that helps soothe redness (aloe vera), attacking acne markings (lemon), glowy skin (green tea), and help dryness and attack acne (rosemary). Try and experiment, have fun, drink some hot tea with honey, and RELAX!!
