A while ago, my cousin made this lovely baby wreath for her girlfriend`s baby shower. I was thinking of making one. But it`s too late now, I will definitely do this next time though. I`ve made diaper cakes before and they are just amazing to give them as gifts because they are special and means more.
This was very simple to make. Here`s is what you will need
12 foam wreath
Size 1 Disposable Diapers (about 15)
Curling Ribbon (two colors in gender or shower theme colors cut in 14-16 lengths)
Various Baby Items (travel shampoo, pacifier, clippers, teether, bib, rattle, onesie, socks, brush/comb, etc.)
1) Open diapers long ways and wrap around the foam wreath (open side must be facing out).
2) Bunch the diapers together and the ribbons around the diaper secure it.
3) Continue tying diapers around wreath, make sure that they are tightly tied, and even them out by pushing them together to cover the gap.
4) Figure out where you want the toys and etc then use the ribbons to tie them around the diaper and the foam (make sure to secure them tightly).
That is pretty much it. You should have something similar to what my cousin made here. It`s completely up to you what you put on it. You can put more goodies or less depending you how much you want to fill it. This makes the perfect gift and it is totally something different.
What do you think?
Ever make a diaper wreath before?
